Dr. Mingqiang Li is a professor of Molecular Medicine at Sun Yat-sen University. His current research is mainly focused on biomaterials, nanomedicine, and tissue engineering. He is an Associate Editor of Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, and Editorial Board Member of Biomaterials, Journal of Tissue Engineering, Chinese Chemical Letters, and Med-X.
Dr. Li received his B.S. in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2009 (advisor: Prof. Shiyong Liu). He carried out his graduate studies under Prof. Xuesi Chen at the Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2009 to 2015, and postdoctoral training with Prof. Kam W. Leong at Columbia University from 2015 to 2018. He joined Sun Yat-sen University in 2018.
